Introducing the latest product from Group3, this Fiber to Serial RS232C converter is an interface for the connection of up to 5 units of DTM151 Teslameters to a computer simulataneously.
This will perform the same function as a set of 5 FTR interfaces, using a single 12VDC supply.
Users can set the mode in either bus or direct.

This product is a 5-channel FTR fibre-optic interface for the connection of up to 5 DTM151 Teslameters to a computer.
This will perform the same function as a set of 5 FTR interfaces, using a single 12VDC supply.
The computer interface is via DB9 sockets for connection of RS-232 ports.
In most cases these will be provided via USB-to-RS232 adaptors such as FTDI.
There are no settings required for the serial ports: the FTR-5 faithfully transfers signals between the computer and fibre-optic interfaces regardless of bit rate, framing or protocol.
